What a16z Speedrun offers founders

The accelerator combines investment and support; the social headline should not be read as a guaranteed funding award.

Andreessen Horowitz's March 2025 Speedrun announcement offered selected pre-seed and seed startups up to $1 million in investment. It described support with recruiting, business development, marketing and access to capital. The program welcomed solo founders and small teams building technology, entertainment and AI products. Keep the headline in context

That announcement said Speedrun had invested more than $100 million across over 120 startups since launching roughly two years earlier. It listed a July-to-October 2025 program schedule. Those details do not establish the social caption's claim of $100 million invested within 30 days. [1]

Before applying

Read the current cohort's application dates, attendance requirements and investment terms. Historical program figures do not establish the terms of a future offer.

Prepare a clear explanation of the customer, the problem and what you have built. Include evidence from actual use where available. An accelerator application is easier to assess when it distinguishes a working product from plans for what investment might make possible.
