What CodeRabbit's Series B announcement funded
The $60 million round supported automated code review; funding alone did not establish review accuracy.

CodeRabbit announced a $60 million Series B on 2025-09-16, led by Scale Venture Partners with participation from NVentures and other investors. The company also announced a command-line review tool intended to work alongside coding agents. [1]
Evaluate the review comments
The company presented automated review as a way to help teams handle growing amounts of generated code. That explains the product's intended role, but a funding announcement does not measure how accurately it reviews your codebase. [1]
Try the reviewer on changes whose risks you understand. Check whether each finding describes a real failure, points to the relevant code and suggests a correction that preserves the requirements. Also inspect the issues it missed.
Keep tests and human ownership of the change. A review tool is useful when it improves the evidence available to the person approving a patch, rather than becoming a reason to stop checking it.
