What Cursor's web and mobile agents enabled
The June 2025 release let developers start tasks remotely and review changes before continuing on desktop.

Cursor announced web and mobile access to its agents on June 30, 2025. Developers could start tasks from a browser and install the interface as a progressive web app on iOS or Android [1].
Start remotely, review deliberately
The announcement described giving an agent a natural-language task, reviewing the resulting changes, providing follow-up instructions and opening the work in Cursor's desktop application [1].
A phone makes it convenient to start a task or check progress. It does not make a large code change easier to inspect. For a substantial diff, leave the final review until you have a screen and tools suited to it.
Make a small task easy to verify
For example, ask for a focused documentation update with an explicit target file and acceptance criteria. When the task finishes, compare the diff with that request, check for unrelated edits and run the relevant project checks.
That is a suggested review habit, not a claim that the launch announcement guarantees every result is correct.
Our original post covered the 2025 release. Check current Cursor documentation and your account before relying on a particular remote-agent feature or plan allowance.
