What Databricks reported with its Series K

The September 2025 announcement separated funding, valuation and annualized revenue measures.

On 2025-09-08, Databricks said it was closing a $1 billion Series K at a valuation above $100 billion. It also reported a company revenue run-rate above $4 billion and an AI products revenue run-rate above $1 billion. These were company-reported figures for that announcement. [1]

Read the measures separately

A funding round describes money invested in the company. Valuation describes the value assigned during that financing. A revenue run-rate annualizes a recent pace of revenue; it does not mean the company already collected that amount over a full year.

Databricks connected its plans to AI applications and enterprise data. For a team choosing a platform, the useful questions remain specific: which data sources it supports, who can access them, how workloads are charged and how results are checked. A financing headline does not answer those questions for your application.
