Check a Deep Think model before 3D printing
Review geometry and dimensions after an AI tool turns a drawing into a printable file.

Google's Gemini 3 Deep Think announcement describes generating a 3D-printable file from a sketch. The model analyzes the drawing and constructs the shape. [1]
A generated file still needs inspection before it becomes a physical object.
Make the drawing specific
Include dimensions, units and the purpose of the part. Identify holes, clearances and surfaces that must fit another object. If the drawing leaves those details out, inspect any assumptions the model makes.
Start with a simple, non-critical object. Avoid treating a demonstration as proof that the result is suitable for structural or safety-related use.
Inspect the file in your own tools
Open the result in your modeling or slicing application. Check scale, wall thickness, disconnected parts and unsupported geometry. Compare the preview against the drawing before starting a print.
Google's February announcement placed the updated mode in the Gemini app for AI Ultra subscribers and offered API early access. [1] Check current availability before choosing a plan for this workflow. Keep your drawing and inspected result together so you can reproduce the next revision.
