Turn a music idea into an Eleven Music prompt
Describe the intended sound, then listen and revise instead of treating the first generation as finished.

Eleven Music generates music from natural-language instructions. Its documentation describes vocal and instrumental output, multiple languages, and editing individual sections or the whole song [1]. This is the product shown in our Instagram carousel.
Start with a usable brief
A prompt needs enough direction to guide a result. For example:
A short instrumental background track for a calm coding tutorial.
Soft electric piano, restrained drums, no vocals.
Keep the arrangement sparse enough that spoken narration stays clear. That is an example brief, not a tested preset or a guarantee of a particular output. Change one part at a time so you can hear what changed.
Review it in the actual video
Listen with the narration playing. Check whether the music competes with speech, whether transitions fit the edit and whether the ending feels abrupt. A track that works on its own may not fit your scene.
ElevenLabs describes commercial uses subject to its music terms and subscription conditions [1]. Check the terms for the account and intended use before publishing. Keep the generated file and its project details so a future edit can identify which version was used.
