Check Grok Imagine video output before publishing
Review motion, sound and output limits before using a generated clip.

Grok Imagine creates video from text or an image. The original post highlighted Imagine 1.0 and its short clips; current API documentation describes clips up to 15 seconds and generation with audio. Treat a release announcement as a dated snapshot, and check the model you actually select before planning an export. [1]
Review a short clip first
Start with a single subject and one movement. For example, ask for a slow camera move around a stationary product rather than several scene changes at once. Keep the original prompt beside the result so you can tell whether a revision improved it.
Watch once without sound, then listen without looking at the picture. Check hands, faces, text, object continuity, speech and the final frame. A clip that looks convincing in a small preview may still fail when enlarged.
Before adding it to a blog, provide a poster image and controls, compress the file, and avoid autoplay with sound. Label synthetic scenes when viewers could mistake them for a recording. Generation produces an asset to review, not an automatic publishing decision.
