What NVIDIA and Nokia announced for AI radio networks
The 2025 partnership supported network development; a 6G-ready platform did not mean a live 6G service.

NVIDIA and Nokia announced an AI radio-network partnership on 2025-10-28. NVIDIA described a planned $1 billion investment in Nokia and introduced its Arc Aerial RAN Computer as a 6G-ready computing platform. [1]
Separate development from deployment
RAN means radio access network, the part of a mobile network that connects devices through radio equipment. The announcement concerned bringing accelerated computing into that infrastructure and developing AI-related network services. Nokia planned to expand its portfolio with an AI-RAN product based on NVIDIA's platform. [1]
The companies also described T-Mobile's participation in 6G development. A development partnership and equipment described as 6G-ready do not establish that customers already have a commercial 6G network. The social caption's claim of a completed world-first intelligent network went beyond those details. [1]
For deployment claims, look for a named operator, a service launch and the locations where customers can use it. For research claims, look for the capabilities demonstrated and the remaining work.
