Separate Optimus demonstrations from household claims
A robot demonstration does not establish reliable autonomous childcare or routine home assistance.

The original post describes Optimus handling family routines from breakfast to bedtime. That wording overstates what the cited material establishes. Tesla's robotics page describes the goal of a general-purpose humanoid and the engineering needed for balance, navigation, perception and physical interaction. It does not establish reliable autonomous childcare. [1]
Ask what the demonstration proves
For any robot video, look for the original producer, the task conditions and whether a person controls or assists the robot. A short edited clip does not establish how often the task succeeds, how it handles an interruption or whether it works in another home.
I cannot establish those details for the clip behind the original post. It should not be treated as evidence that a robot can take responsibility for children.
Check capability task by task
Separate carrying an object, preparing food and supervising a child. Each requires different checks and has different consequences when it fails.
Use Tesla's own updates for the program's stated capabilities. Keep a demonstration's visible result separate from claims about dependable everyday use.
