Our 3D-tool carousel featured Spline, Womp and Pacdora. Start with the output you need rather than assuming they are interchangeable.
Spline: an interactive scene
Spline provides a browser-based environment for creating interactive 3D for websites and apps [1]. Consider it when the visitor needs to interact with the scene. Test the resulting page on a phone and check how much loading and rendering work the scene adds.
Womp: model a shape
Womp describes its product as browser-based 3D modeling software [2]. Use a small object to explore the modeling workflow before committing a larger project. Confirm the export format and the next application that must open the file.
Pacdora: preview a product design
Pacdora focuses on mockups and packaging dieline templates [3]. A dieline describes a package's flat cutting and folding layout. A mockup helps show how artwork might look on the finished object.
Check dimensions and production requirements with the manufacturer before treating a visual preview as a production-ready file. For all three tools, inspect current plan limits and export options. The useful comparison is whether the tool produces the specific file or interaction your project needs, with a review process you can repeat.
